The Comms team at Virgin Mobile hosted the first ever “Social Media Day” to teach employees about new and growing channels and their impact throughout the organization – not just in marketing and PR but also in customer care and product development. Julie was invited to share Social Media best practices and her personal journey as a branding blogger.
Julie participated in Argyle Executive Forum’s “Conversation Forums” – interviews with senior leaders on business challenges. Julie focused on Virgin’s growth approach, mobile media innovations, and measuring brand equity at both the individual-company and master- brand level. She highlighted the need for businesses to focus on customer centricity, innovation, creativity, and responsibility in order to build strong brand equity.
?What If! ‘s Skinny Innovation event focused on the challenges of today’s rocky business environment. Julie was on a panel discussing creating ideas that add consumer value and also have a positive impact on the company’s bottom line. The event brought together 40 top caliber organizations such as J & J, Marriott, and American Express.
